Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day : 1 Nairobi Wilson Airport for a 10.15 am
Flight to Masai Mara National Reserve at Keekorok Airstrip ETA @ 11 am: 8 am after breakfast, a meet and greet will be conducted by Pal-Davis Adventures Representative. Thereafter, start the safari from your city hotel and transfer you to the domestic, Wilson Airport for your flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. There is a 1 hour reporting time. Your Flight Baggage is strictly limited to 15 kilograms. Board your flight to Masai Mara – flying time approx. 1 hour: Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to Mara Simba Lodge by the Lodge’s Driver guide in a 4 x 4 safari vehicle. Proceed for lunch via game drive and enjoy some leisure time at the lodge. Proceed for a Safari Game drive late afternoon [typically 4 pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Masai Mara National Reserve and see its amazing wildlife. (The safari vehicle may carry other guests from the lodge). Day : 2 Amboseli Full Day
Full day spent at Masai Mara National Reserve “AM & PM” game drives or an option of full day game drive with picnic lunch box:
Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.30 am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the Mara’s great wildlife. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active. Return to the Lodge for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool but also offers a variety of add-on activities, everything from nature walks to a Maasai Village visit [ Optional activities such as Maasai Village Visit and Nature walks at additional cost - please enquire with us ]. After the sumptuous lunch, take a mid-afternoon safari game drive to further explore the reserve. Day : 3 Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi Wilson Airport
Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi Wilson Airport and to Four Point Hotel J.K.I.A:
After a relaxed breakfast and check out. You now bid Farewell to Masai Mara as you will be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip for your 11.15 am return flight to Nairobi [flying time approx. 1 hour] with a shortened morning game drive en-route. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll have our driver-guide waiting for you at the Wilson Airport for onward transfer to a city hotel or Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
