Cross the border into Tanzania to visit the Serengeti. Great Migration is one of the world’s biggest natural shows on this vast savannah. Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Arrival Nairobi

    We’ll pick you up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to the Eka Hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day : 2 Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

    At 7:00 a.m., we depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park, passing by a Masai Village for an immersive cultural experience before we proceed to Ol Tukai Lodge for early check-in, then lunch. After lunch, we’ll take you out on a game drive inside Amboseli National Park, and on a clear afternoon, the towering Mt. Kilimanjaro is visible. The park is relatively small but has a diversity of birdlife, carnivores such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, and the largest elephant populations.

  • Day : 3 Amboseli National Park

    After an early breakfast, spend an entire day in Amboseli NP Morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's smaller yet most famous wildlife sanctuaries close to Kenya- Tanzania border and flanked by the towering Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa at 5,896 metres.

    Picnic lunch is served at the Amboseli Observatory Point, where it’s safe to hike up the small hill, have lunch, and take photos with amazing views of the plains and Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop.

  • Day : 4 Amboseli, Kenya – Tarangire NP/ Lake Manyara NP, Tanzania

    Wake up to breakfast, check out, and enjoy a last-game drive through Amboseli NP en route to Namanga Border Crossing. We’ll hand you over to our Tanzanian counterpart, who will take charge of the rest of the safari itinerary.

    Stop for lunch at Diamond Café in Arusha before driving to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive. (The option between Tarangire and Lake Manyara depends on the rainy season. L. Manyara gets submerged and is closed off.

    Located at the foot of the magnificent western escarpment, Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake that forms a portion of the Rift Valley wall and provides a stunning and tranquil backdrop. Lake Manyara's attractions include the quiet environment and abundant bird life, tree-climbing lions, and hippos that may be seen from closer quarters than in most other areas.

    In addition to the thousands of flamingos that visit Lake Manyara at certain times of the year, the lake's varied vegetation—which includes grassland, marsh, and acacia woodland—provides a home for many other species, including butterflies.

    In the evening, drive out of Lake Manyara and up the escarpment to Octagon Lodge, Karatu, for dinner and overnight.

  • Day : 5 Exploring Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    The day starts with an early breakfast before driving northbound into the iconic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Get your cameras out for captivating video as you navigate the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the pastoralist Masai

    Community, who co-exist peacefully with wildlife and call this treasure trove their ancestral land. Descend into the crater for a full-day crater tour with packed lunches.

    The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction.

    The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home toNgorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity and was initially thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro.

    The Olduvai Gorge cuts through rock beds layered in time sequence from 2 million years ago. It is here where humanoid bones have been found, dating back to over 1.75 million years, including a direct ancestor of modern man. Fossil footprints (over three million years old) have also been found here and are the most ancient footprints yet discovered.

    There is an excellent site museum where you can explore the diggings with a guide, and it is also a great place to view birds.

    As dusk approaches, ascend the crater rim and check into Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (or equivalent) for dinner and overnight stay at

  • Day : 6 Ngorongoro Conservation Area- Serengeti National Park

    After an early breakfast, drive to the Serengeti and spend the entire day exploring the vast, wildlife-rich game park. Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park, covering 14,736 sq km and adjoining Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve.

    You will visit the northern part of the park – Seronera, with an opportunity to see the annual wildebeest migration. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat-eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce, and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.

    Serengeti also offers rewarding bird viewing, with ostrich and kori bustards being common; a variety of larks, finches, and raptors can be seen, but the most distinctive small bird is the lilac-breasted roller.

  • Day : 7 Serengeti National Park Full-Day Game Drive

    Wake up to an early breakfast, followed by a full-day game drive inside the Serengeti-you can never just explore enough of this vastly wildlife-rich game park. At lunchtime, your driver guide will set up the picnic lunch table for you for an exciting bush lunch, before you continue with your game drive till evening.

  • Day : 8 Serengeti NP-Zanzibar by Flight

    After breakfast, you will be dropped off at the nearest airstrip to an onward flight to Zanzibar, where your beach holiday for the next two days awaits, staying at the Emerald Zanzibar.

  • Day : 9 Sun and Sand at Emerald Zanzibar

    Besides the scheduled meal times, have the whole day’s program to yourself, whether catching a suntan on the Zanzibar beaches or chilling by the pool as you sip your favorite cocktail.
